Blake Lively is serving looks baked in nostalgia this Thanksgiving season.
Though Lively has been keeping a low profile throughout the ongoing It Ends With Us legal drama, she pops up every once in a while to deliver a trend-forward fall look or quick-paced hair tutorial to promote her haircare line Blake Brown Beauty. On November 26, she combined the two, posting a sped-up video of her eight-minute “deep wave curls” routine for “when you’re in a hurry but want a quick glam look for a special occasion.” You know, like Thanksgiving dinner with your boyfriend’s dad who secretly dated your mom!
At least, that’s the special occasion I assume Lively is talking about, given her entire look was giving Gossip Girl, from her deep side-part and uneven waves to her blue velvet mini dress and giant red-beaded statement necklace. None of this would look out of place on Serena van der Woodsen between the years 2007—2012.
