NBC News’ Savannah Sellers interviewed the first Gen Z member of Georgia’s State House of Representatives, 23-year-old Bryce Berry, about his landslide win. Berry, a Democrat, took office after beating Republican incumbent Mesha Mainor. As part of the series “Making WaveZ,” Sellers spoke with Berry about how his community activism and work as a 7th-grade math teacher inspired his run.
