The federal food assistance program is set to pause in just days, with 25 states suing the Trump administration to keep SNAP benefits going, despite the government shutdown. It comes as an estimated 1.4 million federal workers are now missing paychecks and flight delays continue to mount due to shortages of air traffic control staff.
