A hot-air balloon that crashed into a set of power lines in Rochester, Minn., and sparked a small brush fire reportedly sent three passengers tumbling to the ground.

The individuals, who have not yet been identified, were in the balloon’s basket when it disconnected and fell 20 to 30 feet to the ground, according to reports. None of the passengers were seriously injured, but two reported minor injuries, officials said.

A gust of wind reportedly pushed the balloon off its course as the pilot was trying to land in a nearby field, causing a collision above Highway 63 around 6:50 p.m. Wednesday.

The Rochester Fire Department responded to the scene and put out a small fire that sparked close to where the basket landed.

Smoke-eaters also reported meeting with the passengers, one of whom confirmed they had been the pilot of the balloon, and determined there were no serious injuries sustained in the crash.

Video footage captured by the Minnesota Department of Transportation shows the ballon descending over the highway before a bright ball of light is sparked and the wind takes the balloon upward.

Smoke can also be seen rising from the area of the collision in the latter part of the video.

The balloon was located several miles from the basket after it floated away and will be examined by the National Transportation Safety Board as part of its investigation in conjunction with the Federal Aviation Administration.
