Jack Antonoff has plenty of “Bad Blood” for anyone who questions Taylor Swift’s songwriting prowess.
The Grammy-winning producer, 39, equated such disbelief to “challenging someone’s faith in God” in a new Los Angeles Times interview.
“You just don’t go there,” said the New Jersey native, who fronts Bleachers and previously played in the band Fun.
Antonoff and the record-breaking “Anti-Hero” singer, 34, met in late 2012 and have collaborated on every album she’s released since, including her “Taylor’s Version” re-releases and the recently announced “The Tortured Poets Department.” The latter drops April 19.
“I’m a little b—h sometimes, but you come after my friend Taylor, you’re toast to me,” vowed Antonoff, whose Jersey nuptials were attended by Swift last summer.
His remarks come two years after Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn suggested to the L.A. Times that Swift doesn’t write her own tunes, despite having writing or co-writing credits on all of them.
Swift herself hit back at the Brit, 55, tweeting that she was “such a big fan of yours until I saw this.
“I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging,” the now-14-time Grammy winner responded. “You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really f—ed up to try and discredit my writing. WOW.” Albarn eventually apologized.
Antonoff also made a dig at Swift’s long-time musical foe Ye, whose many antisemitic rants and other controversies have seen him largely ostracized by the entertainment industry.
“I’m so incredibly bored when someone doesn’t have the sauce anymore, so they go elsewhere to shock. It’s just a remarkable waste of space,” said Antonoff, noting that the embattled rapper, 46, “just needs his diaper changed so badly.”
The rapper formerly known as Kanye West recently refuted claims that Swift got him booted from his seats near her at the Super Bowl, where she was supporting boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight-end Travis Kelce.
Antonoff’s comments come in the midst of Swift’s second international leg of her historic Eras Tour, which takes fans through all the musical “eras” of her career. In December, just months after kicking off last March, the tour became the first ever to gross $1 billion.
