The former president was in a Florida courtroom as his lawyers called on Judge Aileen Cannon to dismiss the case. Mr. Trump’s lawyers argued that the federal law that is the basis of most of the charges is unconstitutionally vague when it comes to a former president. But Judge Aileen Cannon ruled that a dismissal over vagueness would be “premature.” NBC News’ Laura Jarrett reports.
